Okay so this is the first time that i made this recipe and this will be the very first time which i will be posting a recipe which has not been made for at least six times on sauéedandbaked.wordpress.com. But it was seriously delicious and fantastic to eat! i have made the elements of this dish several times before but never together so yes this is a time-tested recipe after all!
This bread can be eaten as a snack, as part of a meal or as a meal itself! Serve it hot and hot with butter and it will be completely lip smacking . Ooh yeah! This is one cheesy and creamy filled chicken stuffed into white fluffy bread. Did i mention it has bacon in it too? I really should rename this recipe as Triple Joy Bread!
I really do hope all of you try this recipe very soon. You will not be disappointed.
Here is the link to a very detailed bread recipe which i had posted earlier on this blog. Follow these steps as well as a few additions to the ones given below for super soft and fluffy bread. Super Easy Garlic and Butter Rolls.

Add milk and turn heat to medium low. Cover and let it cook for ten minutes maximum.
After ten minutes add the onion leek and parsley and stir well. Evaporate any juices which might be there. Check for seasoning.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
The amazing chicken stuffing is done!
Prep for the Bread –
Do refer to this link for details about proofing yeast. It’s tried and tested and very specific.
The only change is the addition of the egg which makes the bread extremely soft. All you need to do is mix in the egg when the dough is being made initially and your all set.
Once the dough has doubled in size, deflate it by punching out the air from it. Cut into two halves. Roll out each half to 1/8th of an inch rectangle and scoop out some chicken filling (recipe given above) and place in middle of rectangle. then with a sharp knife, make cuts on the dough on the sides. Each cut should result in strips of dough which are about 1 inch in width.
Take about half a cup of chopped cheese and half a cup of chopped bacon. Place over the chicken and please do be generous with the bacon and cheese. It tastes amazing when done.
Now fold over each strip of dough alternatively. Gently pull the strips downwards so that they sit at an angle over the stuffing.
Why did i make these cuts in the dough? Well after baking the loaf looks very nice and cheese comes oozing out of these cuts making it look even more drool-worthy! the bacon inside gets cooked well too and releases it’s flavorsome oil!
Please on well-greased baking tray for half an hour more in oven which is off.
After half an hour, heat the oven at 180° C for ten minutes. While the oven is heating, brush the top and sides of the dough with an egg wash. Please in heated oven and bake for 20 minutes at 180° C or till light brown.
Once done place on a cooling rack. Cut after ten minutes. It tastes amazing plain and tastes even better which butter smeared over it!
That’s it and your done! If it looks something like this, you’re a genius, but i am sure your’ will look amazing and better than what i put together! Do enjoy and share your comments!
